Following a sold-out inaugural awards ceremony last February, Chef Eli Kulp and the Delicious City Philly Podcast team, featuring Philly’s favorite radio producer Marisa Magnatta of WMMR and food influencer Dave Wez (aka @FeedingTimeTV), are preparing for the next installment of “The Tasties,” Philadelphia’s first-of-its-kind awards ceremony that celebrates the culinary talent and hospitality that has put Philly squarely in the epicenter of the nation’s restaurant scene.

Billed as “Philadelphia’s Biggest Night In Food,” the second installment of The Tasties will take place on Sunday, February 1, 2026 at Live! Casino, located at 900 Packer Avenue in South Philadelphia. The city’s best and brightest culinary stars and industry professionals will walk the Red Carpet beginning at 4 p.m., and the awards ceremony will take place from 5 to 7 p.m., followed by a celebratory party featuring a variety of local chefs, artisans, and purveyors.

The ceremony tickets will be priced at $190 per person for those who want to attend both the awards and the party, or just $95 for those who would like to attend only the post-ceremony soirée. There will also be VIP tickets available ($250), which include a one-hour reception with an exclusive array of food and beverages before the ceremony.

Proceeds from the festivities will benefit Philabundance, which works to fight food insecurity across the Philadelphia region. Tickets will go on-sale on 11/4, and can be purchased here at DeliciousCityPodcast.com. There will be an early-bird ticket discount available through 11/14 for the first 100 tickets purchased. Guests are asked to dress to impress.

This year, The Tasties are introducing the Future Tastemaker Award, which will recognize outstanding hospitality professionals under the age of 30, whether they work in the kitchen, behind the bar, or as part of a restaurant’s service team. Restaurants and bars can nominate team members beginning December 3rd through the Delicious City website. For Future Tastemakers, The Tasties will be awarding three $1,000 future scholarships to young professionals which can be used towards tools and equipment that support their craft, as well as wine, spirits, or hospitality courses that help them continue growing and advancing in their careers.

For 2026, The Tasties have expanded both the nominee committee and judging process, reflecting a continued commitment to integrity and fairness. The 15-member committee now includes some of Philadelphia’s leading food journalists, lifestyle reporters, past Tasties winners, and community leaders. This year, they are increasing the number of nominees from three to four in each category, giving them the opportunity to recognize even more of Philadelphia’s remarkable culinary and hospitality talent. The 2026 ceremony will feature 14 award categories, live entertainment, chef appearances, red-carpet arrivals, and an unforgettable after-party experience. The post-ceremony party will include food and drink provided by a collection of esteemed Philadelphia chefs, restaurateurs, makers, brewers, and distillers. The party will feature different rooms, each of which will have a unique theme and features, along with DJs and surprise musical guests.
